Today I completed my essay about The Offspring's album Smash. I put a lot of thought into each sentence and hope all the grammer is correct. My essay was pretty much about the theme of the album, which I found to be about the reckless youth of today and how they must one day deal with the problums of the world.

In class today we read a short story called The Brief history of the Dead. It is about the city of all people who have died and have not gone to heaven or hell yet because there are people in the alive world that still know about them. I believe that it may take place in the future because it talks about worldwide chemical warfare. In the middle of the story a virologist appears in the town he makes a comment about some people discovering something, and a few days later people started appearing in the city like crazy. But for every one person appearing three would disappear, and at the end the city was empty except for one old man.

This is my first post and it will be on what we talked about in English class today. I learned how to set up my blos and how to add team members on to my blog. We also further discussed how to form an essay; we anaylized magazine ads and used them as the bases for are essays. I discovered how to write a direct but still generalized thesis statement.
